17 Sep 2022-CONVOCATION DAY

It was indeed a day filled with joy for the outgoing students of Don Bosco ITI, KGF, who on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11.00 a.m. were specially honored for their achievements in the recently held AITT August 2022 examinations. The Convocation Day was organized in the auditorium of Don Bosco ITI, during which the achievers were felicitated by the Salesian Provincial of the Bangalore Province, Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB. There were 100 students present to witness this event. Additionally, the ITI also commemorated the Engineers’ Day, during which the staff were commended for their hard work. It was also a day when Mr. Mary Vianney, the JTO of the welding section was officially felicitated upon his retirement. The Provincial, the Rector, Fr. Previnth Joe Tony, the Vice-Rector, Fr. Dominic Sequeira, the Principal, Fr. Dominic Dinesh, spoke briefly upon the importance of the event, giving thought provoking messages. The students put up a prayer dance, a patriotic song and a beautifully acted out skit regarding the killer-disease AIDS. Finally, to add extra sweetness to the event, finger-licking snacks were distributed to all who were present in the function hall.
